19 March 2020 – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – In view of Malaysia MCO, Iqzan Holding Bhd management formed an emergency relief team today and allocated non-material internal generated fund committed to help fund the Covid-19 medical supply shortage currently in need by the nation. The team committed 6 months starting today and may continue to service the nation until MCO or border control ends.
The company is cooperating with other volunteer rescue team, through Iqzan’s business network in China, South Korea and Europe, securing shortage supplies namely RTK, PCR and vaccines sources for both government and private hospitals use.
The Malaysia 2020 Movement Control Order (Malay: Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Malaysia 2020), commonly referred to as the MCO or PKP, is a cordon sanitaire implemented as a preventive measure by the federal government of Malaysia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country on 18 March 2020.
Iqzan team shall continue to serve customers and stakeholders by working from remote home office, as well as virtual monitoring of factory functions starting 19 March 2020. However, the emergency relief team shall continue to operate as usual at emergency offices to support the government and government authorised medical supply companies to ease the nation burden, with applicate for approval letters to travel in the case Covid-19 support work.
