The Past 1994 – 2018
In 1994, two established global strategic packaging groups—Austin Foam Plastics Inc. in Texas, USA, and ILP Group in Ireland—came together to form a company in Penang, Malaysia. Thus, Ire-Tex Malaysia was born. Subsequently, the company grew rapidly and further expanded its operations into Tampoi, Johor; Klang; Kuala Lumpur; Xiamen and Suzhou in China; as well as Chennai, India.
Ire-Tex was initially set up to support the protective packaging needs of its sister companies in the Asia Pacific region. Over the years, Ire-Tex Group has become a one-stop packaging solution provider that offers the design, testing, and manufacturing of a comprehensive range of polymer-based protective packaging products to its customers throughout the region.
The Group’s ability to provide total flexibility of service, competitive pricing, choice, delivery, overseas support, and the finest quality has helped it achieve its current position. Through years of development, the Group has acquired a packaging design capability that accommodates the varied needs of its customers in this high-tech sector of the industry.
Ire-Tex provides pack-assembly services and customer support by managing the inventory of materials for its customers. This includes full logistics backup for its “Just-In-Time” services, which frees up space in its customers’ warehouses and minimizes hidden costs.
Over the years, the Group has been continuously committed to providing quality products and services to its customers. It has gained recognition for its quality standards and received ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. In 2001, the Group was accredited as a member of the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA), a U.S.-certified packaging testing laboratory body.

Ire-Tex Corporation Berhad was listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in February 2004.

2019 – present
Ire-Tex was renamed Iqzan Holding Berhad (IQZAN Group) on 4th December 2019, and has transformed into a diversified investment holding group, with business ventures having sustainable initiatives such as green packaging, environmental friendly engineering processes, recycled industrial material processing, and smart manufacturing. The use of Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, and Block-Chain only perfected the business processes, and despite the advancement of technologies, IQZAN ensure customers the human touch is here to stay. Ire-Tex brand remains the intellectual property of the group under subsidiaries Ire-Tex Packaging and Ire-Tex Industrial Park.
